Cabins & Suite Policy

We have a cleaning fee policy with our cottages, cabins and suites. We ask that you pick up all of your garbage and take it to the dumpsters located at the back parking lot of Bruce Anchor Motel. Please do not leave the garbage outside. If you move any of the furniture around, put it all back the way that you found it. Wash, dry, and put away all used dishes, do not leave them on the counter to air dry. Clean the BBQ if you use it. So long as you do all of these things, there is no fee, but if we have to do any one of these things for you, there is a minimum $50 fee for each item that was not looked after. All cottage, and suite rates are based on four people, cabin rates are based on 2 people except for cabin #8 which is based on 4 people. Each additional person is $20/night regardless of age. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you want to increase the number of people occupying the cottage that you have reserved. All cottages and suites have maximum occupancy limits for adults and children, so please be sure to check with the front desk about adding more people to your booking. We do not provide cots or extra linens beyond the linens that are already provided for the beds that are in the cottage or suite. Cottages must be booked for a minimum of two nights at the weekend rate on weekends or a minimum of three nights at the long weekend rate on long weekends.

As a deposit, we process the first two night’s stay including taxes on your credit card at the time that the booking is made. This deposit must be made on a credit card, we cannot accept Visa Debit, or prepaid credit cards. Reservations are not complete until we have processed the deposit. Cancellation policy for cottages, cabins and the two bedroom luxury suite is two weeks notice in order to receive a complete refund of your deposit. Cancelling within two weeks of your reservation will give you a 50% refund of your deposit. Cancelling within 48 hours of your reservation, or not showing up for your reservation will result in no deposit refund. Check in is anytime after 3 pm and check out is at 10 am. Please let us know what time you think you might be arriving in the request field above. All rooms, cottages, cabins and suites are non-smoking and all the properties are pet free. Cottages, cabins and suites must be booked for a minimum of two nights at the weekend rate on weekends or a minimum of three nights at the long weekend rate on long weekends.

Villa Policy

Check in is anytime after 3pm and check out is at 11am. Please let us know what time you think you might be arriving in the request field above. All rooms, cottages, and suites are non- smoking and our properties are pet free. Cooking is not permitted in any of our motel rooms (except the two bedroom suite with kitchen). All room rates are based on two people, each additional person over the age of 12 is $10/night. Rooms and cabins with one bed are only allowed for two adults and one small child. We do not provide cots, so it is up to you to bring your own air mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow for the extra person. Rooms must be booked for a minimum of two nights on Saturdays of regular weekends or a minimum of three nights on Saturday and/or Sunday nights of long weekends.
